At the 2nd Mile Recreation Center, we believe community isn’t just something you have — it’s something you build. Since 2008, 2nd Mile has been a home base for Blanco’s youth, families, and friends. It’s where Monday nights mean Young Life gatherings, where birthday candles get blown out, where fierce ping pong battles are fought, and where the basketball courts are always ready for a game.
Privately owned but open to the public, 2nd Mile is here for you. Whether you're hosting an event, shooting hoops, or just hanging out with friends, this space was made to be shared.
We don’t charge rental fees — instead, we operate on a donation basis, trusting our community to help keep 2nd Mile thriving. Every donation goes right back into keeping the doors open, the lights on, and the memories going.
